¹⁶ I appeal to you then to be imitators of me. ¹⁷ For this reason I have sent you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord. He will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every Church.

¹⁸ Some of you have become arrogant, on the assumption that I am not coming to you.
